Change yoou can believe in. . .

This summer we looked at houses. We are bursting at the seams. Jake felt like we shouldn't move. Something had to change. So, we spent hours at different home improvement stores and talking to various people. We determined that our kitchen had some unused space that we could address. A remodel on the kitchen would have been nice, but we had granite put in. . . not an option. Refacing and some drastic changes on a couple of cabinets became the only conclusion we could come up with. We knocked out a corner capbinet that the builders didn't finish and had blind cabinets put in on the top and bottom, and new drawers and cabinets. We still have more that we are working on but the proof is in the pudding! I am pleased with the improvements, I just wish we had more space. . .

Some before and after and during the process. It took three days to do!

While our kitchen was torn up, we took a staycation and went to a hotel five minutes away -- La Quinta. It was amazingly fun, maybe I don't need to travel as much as I do. . .a hotel does make life a little sweeter for us all. We swam and watched tv and went out to dinner. It was kind of crazy how many people we saw that were staying at the hotel that we actually knew! What are the odds? Fun times, La Quinta has a suite that we stayed in, so that was fun, two tv's and two rooms and nice and cool rooms. What more can a family ask for? Thanks Ty for hooking us up!

why were they talking about the lawless nature of Oklahoma?? That is weird and funny...:) Yah, you guys need to come! whenever you want! It is seriously lacking in the "land" department and only has a 2 car garage so no ATV's. :(
but we have plenty of rooms and bathrooms for you!
