Our Fall break was occupied with finding renters for our old home, and our ability to go somewhere based on this was not permited. So, we did some fun things in Arizona. One of the things that we did that I had never done was to meet Jacob's scout merit badge requirement -- go to the state capitol. I really found it interesting. They have the silver service for the USS Arizona -- who knew that there is a silver service for the battleships? It was AMAZING -- loved getting to see it -- they custom made the service to symbolize Arizona and some of the unique things of Arizona. They also had some things from Pearl Harbor as well as interesting things about the creation of the state of Arizona. My boys seemed to really find it inetersting.
